Presenting the Vision of Susan Z. Franklin
This website, and whatever I say, write, or teach is my desire to take what I accomplished in all my classrooms and bring it to the world through my writing, speaking, and teaching.
A Peaceful World for Children originated in my third-grade classroom at Palomino Elementary school. Brainstorming with my students, I wrote a play that they performed called A Peaceful World for Children. When I retired, I took the play’s theme and continued writing, and now I have a trilogy called Planetary Odyssey soon to be published.
From the time I could hold a pencil, writing was my passion, and speaking and communicating did not come as easy to me. In Toastmasters, I was able to improve upon my speaking, and now my passion is writing, speaking, and teaching. This website will incorporate what I have learned about life, children, myself, and all humanity, and bring my interpretation of healing, wisdom, and how to create what I did in my classroom, into the world.
Peaceful World for Children
A Peaceful World for Children is my mantra for having a world that is peaceful for everyone. The inner child of all of us began as a child, and bringing up children in a peaceful environment is the anecdote for a peaceful world. Let us all treat all of our children on Earth, as all of our children. That is my vision, and I will do whatever I can to make it a reality. I did in my classrooms, and I know it is possible. It just takes us all to embrace it, if not for us, then for our children.

Sharing methods that worked for me in the beginning when I didn’t know what I was doing, but intuitively seemed to connect with the children and simplified things to teach to their level, rather than a one size fits all approach.

Maturity and wisdom do come with age, and it can make you bitter or better when you learn how many mistakes you made out of being naïve.
What is unique about me, is I remember the past and present and can see the connections within my inner self. I can see with clarity myself, others, and the world with a confidence that wasn’t available to me up until now.
Leading up to the present, I have released the wounds that kept me from knowing well my own inner being’s intuitive wisdom on a consistent basis. It has come to the surface with a vengeance that allowed for evolvement and healing, and I am being guided to share this rather than keep it all to myself.
The Lemonade Stand
Imagine a tapestry with knots, frays, and disjointed patterns on one side. Turn it over, and you have a beautifully woven piece of art or a disco ball with a brilliant display of light produced from shattered glass. We are creators of our beauty if we believe in ourselves, God, and the goodness of the people we keep in our corner.
